Shane Creech has been hired as the Director of Infrastructure and Cloud Services, bringing with him experience that will help NHRMC accelerate our journey to the cloud. He will report to John Tuman, Chief Technology Officer.

“Our growth demands greater scale in hardware. In the past, we would need to add highly specialized technical professionals to implement and maintain the systems. The cloud, though, offers greater scale and offloads routine activities, which allows technical staff to practice at the top of their profession,” Tuman said.

As a leader in information technology with experience in both daily infrastructure operations and cloud transformations, Shane has coordinated the triad of people, process, and technology to help organizations increase their agility and gain more value from their information technology investments.

“Shane is a great cultural fit, has proven ability to lead a cloud transition and years of infrastructure knowledge, all of which is needed to move a complex organization to the cloud,” Tuman said.

Shane will work closely with his infrastructure teams and application owners to identify solutions to enable NHRMC technology professionals to give increased focus to growth and transformational projects.

Some of Shane’s specific duties include developing and executing a Cloud Roadmap and overseeing Infrastructure operations including server, storage, network and Epic application infrastructure.

Shane is an industry certified infrastructure and cloud services associate, holds a certificate in IT service management, and most recently served as an advisory board member for the Salvation Army in Goshen, IN where he used both his technology and business skills to benefit the community. Shane has served healthcare communities in Northern Indiana both for-profit and not-for-profit for over 13 years, and the higher education community for more than eight years, including six years at the University of Notre Dame.

A native of Columbia City, Indiana, Shane earned a bachelor’s degree in information technology at University of Phoenix and earned his M.B.A at Purdue University.
