New Hanover Regional Medical Center employees have once again broken their own record for generosity. Employees have committed to donate $361,547 to the NHRMC Foundation’s 2019 Employee Campaign, which supports special projects that benefit patients and employees in need.
“It absolutely astounds me year after year to see the commitment from our employees to help both our patients and their peers,” said Schorr Davis, NHRMC Vice President of Development/Foundation Executive Director. “Their generosity has a profound impact on our community.”
Last year employees pledged $330,000 and a record number of employees participated last year and again this year.
The Employee Campaign gives NHRMC, Pender Memorial Hospital and NHRMC Physician Group employees an opportunity to designate their gift to a particular area, such as nursing education or the popular Employee Benevolent Fund, which assists employees facing a financial crisis or hardship.
