Andy Wright of AirLink/VitaLink Passes Away

Andy Wright, Manager of PR Outreach and Business Development for AirLink/VitaLink, passed away from brain cancer on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Andy came to NHRMC from Raleigh as a paramedic in 2004. He was transferred to AirLink/VitaLink in 2008 and became a Critical Care Transport Paramedic. In 2009, he obtained his Flight Paramedic Certification and began flying with AirLink.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie, two sons and two stepchildren.

"Andrew is a proud father to two wonderful young men, Gavin and Colin who were the center of his universe. His eyes would brighten with light when given the chance to talk about his boys, and our team members never completed a shift with Andrew without hearing a story about one his sons."
