April 10, 2019
Wanda Treto

Please join the Women's & Children's Hospital in welcoming Wanda Treto, BSN, RNC, NIC III as the Administrative Coordinator for High Risk Perinatal Care.

For the past decade, Wanda has served as a skilled nurse at NHRMC’s Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital, providing primary clinical care to critically ill newborns and their families. Wanda’s scope includes a background in comprehensive newborn perioperative care, family-centered planning, developmental education, advocacy for cultural sensitivities and a wealth of extended clinical support for pediatrics, pediatric ICU, labor & delivery transition, operating room and women’s services. Wanda further adds her inquisitive background as an EPIC super user, serving as a liaison for clinical informatics.

The High Risk Perinatal Administrative Coordinator supports navigation of patients and families with conditions that place mom, baby, or both at a higher-than-normal risk for complications during and/or after pregnancy, conditions threatening to or incompatible with life, or conditions requiring medical or surgical care intervention from a specialized provider.

Wanda will execute a soft transition to her role the week of April 14th at which time she can be reached via email at [email protected] or via phone at 910-604-2897

We look forward to continued growth and expansion of the High Risk Perinatal program.
