If you have used sneakers that you can part with, please donate them to help raise money for the Habitat House Nurse Build.
Inspired by the sense of community surrounding Hurricane Florence the NHRMC Nursing Congress decided to use funds from this year's Celebrate the Gold Gala to raise money to build a Habitat for Humanity home. The groundbreaking will be held this fall, and NHRMC nurses will be involved in the build.
To supplement the money raised from Celebrate the Gold, Nursing Congress has teamed up with Fleet Feet for a sneaker drive. All used sneakers will be donated to those who need shoes, and NHRMC will receive a financial donation for each pair that is donated.
If you have shoes to donate, you can take them to Fleet Feet, 1125 Military Cutoff Road, or bring them to the NHRMC Main Campus and leave them with Andrea Hastie. Andrea's office is in the Employee Health Hallway, and you can reach her at 910.833.2265. Shoes must be received by April 30.
