National Residency Match Day is an exciting day for Medical Students, but one that can also bring apprehension. However, our students with the Wilmington Campus for the UNC School of Medicine had nothing to be concerned about.
All three received the news on March 15th they were each awarded their top choice in very competitive Residency Programs.
Jefferson Lansford will be at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C. for Orthopedics. Scott Royal was selected for the Pediatric Program at Georgetown University. And we are pleased to announce that Rebecca Purvis will be staying with us at NHRMC as an OB/GYN Resident, starting in June.
The School of Medicine staff is extremely proud of our accomplished students and the excellent opportunities in front of them.
