Staff at NHRMC and across the nursing community mourn the loss of Mary Jo Hovey, a longtime CCU RN.
Mary Jo passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Mary Jo touched the lives of so many staff and patients during her CCU nursing career at NHRMC.
"No matter the complexity of her patient assignment, you would never see her without a smile," said Tom Curley, former CCU Manager. "She always put the needs of her patients first. She saved many lives and even helped bring one into the world in CCU! Heaven has received another amazing nurse angel! She will be missed!"
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, February 25 at the Andrews Mortuary & Crematory, Hampstead Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 26th at All Saints Catholic Church in Hampstead.
