Rob Howlett, Flight Nurse with AirLink/VitaLink Critical Care Transport at New Hanover Regional Medical Center was recently recognized by the Board of Directors of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians for achieving 20 consecutive years of National EMS Certification. This distinct honor is held by few EMS professionals.
To maintain his status as a Nationally Registered Paramedic, Rob completed, on a biennial basis, the most comprehensive recertification program for EMS professionals in America.
By maintaining his EMS Certification and completing regular continuing education courses, Howlett has demonstrated his commitment to providing exceptional pre-hospital emergency medical care.
Howlett was Nationally Registered as a paramedic in 1998 and has served the Wilmington and Southeastern North Carolina Community as a paramedic since 1992. He attained his registered nurse license in 2004, and he is currently a flight nurse with the AirLink program.
