A retirement reception for Gwendolyn Brown will be held 2-3:30 p.m. September 10 in the North Meeting Room at NHRMC Orthopedic Hospital.
The following is a letter from Gwendolyn:
Dear Valued Teammates:
As many of you know I will be retiring soon. My last day on the job will be September 11. I joined NHRMC in July 2001 as a discharge person in environmental services at Cape Fear Hospital and remained for 17 years. In my position, I have met many wonderful people and I have enjoyed my years at NHRMC. My co-workers, coordinators, and managers have been very special people to me. I will miss you all dearly. I want to thank each of you for helping to create the memories I will take into my retirement years.
As I end my journey with this organization, I will be spending more time with my children, grandchildren and grand-dogs. You may even find me on the beach with my two piece swimsuit! I hope our paths cross in some way in the future. Until then, farewell my friends and thank you for the wonderful 17 years.
Sincerely,
Gwendolyn E. Brown
