WILMINGTON, NC – NHRMC Physician Group is pleased to welcome
James W. McCriskin, DO, FACP, FACC, to the Cape Fear Heart Associates practice.
Dr. McCriskin is a cardiologist and will practice at the Dosher Wellness Center at St. James Plantation in Southport, 3009 Plaza Lane, allowing more heart patients to receive care locally.
Dr. McCriskin earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA, and his doctorate of osteopathy from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA. After a residency in internal medicine at Allentown Affiliate Hospitals in Allentown, PA, he completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease at Lackland Air Force Base’s Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. McCriskin is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.
