June 15, 2017
Womens ChildrensWILMINGTON, NC – New Hanover Regional Medical Center is committed to providing a safe environment for our patients, families, visitors, staff, physicians and volunteers. Effective June 19, NHRMC is implementing new visitor guidelines for the NHRMC Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital to ensure continued improvements in safety.

Beginning June 19, visitors to the NHRMC Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital will be asked to provide identification and will receive a visitor access badge to enter the women’s and pediatric units.

These guidelines are part of NHRMC’s culture of safety and dedication to security improvements as our main campus continues to grow and more community members visit their friends and loved ones.

In addition to the visitor badges, more parking lot emergency call boxes and security cameras have been added and NHRMC is currently recruiting additional security staff.
