New Hanover Regional Medical Center Reopens for Visitors

October 09, 2016

WILMINGTON, NC – New Hanover Regional Medical Center has reopened for visitors and all hospitals are operating on normal schedules now that Hurricane Matthew has left the region.

This includes NHRMC Urgent Care locations in Wilmington and Wallace.

NHRMC urges caution during post storm flooding and clean up. Our hospitals and emergency departments, including Emergency Department-North, are operating on regular hours and will be open to care for patients.

VitaLine, NHRMC’s telephone information services staffed by registered nurses, can answer questions and provide tips for common storm related injuries. The VitaLine number is 815-5188 or (888) 815-5188.

We encourage patients to talk with their providers if they have questions or concerns.
