Physicians, nurses and staff of the Betty H. Cameron Women’s and Children’s Hospital gathered Wednesday, November 16, in the women's and children's main lobby at 4 p.m. to recognize the facility’s outstanding work in recent quality and patient safety initiatives.
NHRMC President and CEO Mr. Jack Barto made opening remarks, including presenting the Studer Excellence in Patient Care Award to the staff of the Women's and Children's hospital. Light refreshments were served to the more than 100 attendees.
Women’s and Children’s Hospital Administrator Barbara Buechler and neonatologist Dr. Sheri Carroll also spoke regarding quality outcomes and the many successes of the women's and children's hospital in this area.
“This award and these quality and patient safety initiative results represent the very best of the Women’s and Children’s hospital. We provide high-quality and family-centered care where continually optimizing patient care is always a priority,” said Mrs. Buechler, R.N. “Thank you to all physicians, nurses, hospital leadership, staff and family advisory council members who through their hard work made this possible.”
