When choosing a surgical team, it’s important to consider how many procedures they do and the specialized training they have.  The surgical team at NHRMC Cape Fear Specialty Hospital performs more than 8,000 procedures each year, more than any other orthopedic program in eastern North Carolina.  The orthopedic surgeons are board certified or board eligible.  Fellowship trained surgeons are available in each of the subspecialties.

The team also includes more than 75 clinicians who have received additional training or certification specifically in orthopedic care. These hospitalists, anesthesiologists, physician assistants, nurses, technicians, therapists and other caregivers are known for high levels of expertise in their clinical work, as well as extraordinarily compassionate care.
