Oleander Rehabilitation
New Hanover Regional Medical Center Oleander Rehabilitation offers comprehensive outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy services for children and adults. Treatment is provided one on one with the patient and the therapist.
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy staff is very knowledgeable in evaluating and treating a variety of orthopedic and neurological disorders. Our licensed physical therapy staff design an individual program for each patient based on the physician's diagnosis and recommendations to meet the patient's needs.
Occupational Therapy
Our licensed occupational therapy staff focuses on maximizing a patient's independence with self care, work and leisure activities. Each patient is evaluated by an occupational therapist per the physician's order and provided with a customized treatment plan to address that patient's goals. Our occupational therapists are trained to address hand rehabilitation, orthopedic conditions and neurological impairments.
Speech Therapy
Our licensed speech therapists address the patient's specific needs as they relate to an individual's ability to communicate, think, and swallow. Diagnoses treated include neurological impairments such as stroke and brain injury, Parkinson's disease and post cancer care. Our speech therapists collaborate with the patient, their family and the physician to develop a treatment plan with goals that address individual patient needs.

Oleander Rehabilitation is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
