Employee Health & Clinic

NHRMC’s Employee Health & Clinic gives employees a convenient and affordable way to receive medical care for routine illnesses and injuries; examples include treatment of urinary tract infections, sinus infections, conjunctivitis (pink eye), strep throat, bronchitis, minor wounds, minor burns, sprains, sutures, hypertension, COPD, asthma, high cholesterol, and allergies.

The clinic also provides free flu vaccines, free health risk assessments, and ongoing support and counseling to help prevent and manage chronic conditions.

Using Employee Health & Clinic

The clinic is open to NHRMC and NHRMC Physician Group employees exclusively, and all employees can use its services regardless of whether or not they are covered by one of NHRMC’s health insurance plans. Visits to the clinic cost only $10 through payroll deduction, rather than the $25-$35 co-pay usually charged at doctors’ offices or urgent care. Your care will be facilitated by a team of physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, and support staff.

Appointments are not necessary, but are advisable in order to reduce your wait time.  You can schedule an appointment by calling (910) 667-7445. If the wait time will be more than 15 minutes, the Employee Health & Clinic staff will have pagers available to give you so that you can return to work in the Tower and be paged to come down when the clinic can see you.
