ICD-10 Education & Training
Training and education surrounding the ICD-10 code transition will be critical and has already begun for many stakeholders, including coders and clinical documentation improvement, or CDI, specialists. For most stakeholders, training will begin in months ahead and be facilitated mostly online. In addition, ICD-10 preparations are being carefully coordinated with ongoing preparations for the NHRMC Connect upgrade this November. Incorporation of the new ICD-10 codes will be part of this upgrade.
All Physicians and Non-NHRMC Physician Office Staff
In collaboration with SEAHEC and CCHA, NHRMC will be offering ICD-10 education to community physicians and their office staff.
Due to the amount of education needed for these specific positions, Coders and Billers will have access to online education only.
Physicians, advanced care providers and other office staff will have the option of instructor led classes or online education.
