Women's Unit

An inpatient unit for women requiring surgical treatment of various gynecologic conditions.

From the basic to the complex, our Women's Unit is an inpatient unit designed exclusively for women recovering from the surgical treatment of various gynecologic conditions, both benign and malignant.

After surgery at NHRMC's new Surgical Pavilion, women rest, heal and recover in this 20-bed, all-private-room unit, as highly skilled nurses and caregivers monitor their post-surgical progress.

Large and spacious with a soothing ambiance, each room provides ample space for family and friends - yet another demonstration of the hospital's commitment to family-centered care.

Gynecologic conditions treated at NHRMC include:

• Cervical, ovarian and uterine cancer
• Uterine fibroids
• Hysterectomy
• Menstrual dysfunction/disorders
• Pelvic prolapse
• Incontinence
