The Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital on the campus of New Hanover Regional Medical Center provides complete care for women and children in a technically advanced, comfortable and family-centered environment.
A wide range of services from fertility services to advanced birthing care to advanced gynecological care are delivered in the beautiful 195,000-square-foot facility. The Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital is home to many of the region's best and most experienced OB/GYN and pediatric physicians, in addition to a host of specially trained registered nurses and respiratory therapists.

The Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital was the recipient in fall 2011 of the Studer Excellence in Patient Care Award, marking the second time it has received this award. Birthplace: Offers antepartum care for expectant mothers requiring close observation prior to delivery, the Labor and Delivery area for mothers in active labor and a Mother/Baby unit for mothers and babies recovering after delivery
Pediatrics Services: Specialized care is available for children and young adults with illness or injury and includes a PICU for critically ill or injured children requiring round-the-clock care
Women's Services: Provides an inpatient unit for women requiring surgical treatment of various gynecologic conditions
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU): The region's first NICU offers specialized care for babies born prematurely, critically ill or those requiring more advanced care following delivery
