Administrative Residency
OverviewNew Hanover Medical Center offers an Administrative Residency program for prospective health care leaders to gain experience in an integrated health care network serving Southeastern North Carolina. The program is tailored to allow the development of individual interests through interaction with senior management, as well as all levels of operations.
New Hanover Medical Center offers a flexible, supportive environment geared to the self-starter who has had some practical experience in health care. The chosen applicant will be included in all senior-level management meetings and will have constant interaction with the Chief Executive Officer. A senior vice president will serve as the preceptor.
Eligible candidates will have a master's degree in health care administration, business administration, or any related field from an accredited university.

New Hanover Regional Medical Center is committed to providing broad exposure to the daily and strategic operations of a health care facility through interaction with senior management, the Board of Trustees, and the network as a whole.
