Vestibular Rehabilitation
The vestibular rehabilitation program at Oleander Rehab is designed to treat patients with symptoms of vertigo and dizziness, improve balance and address visual following. Patients are evaluated by a physical therapist and an individualized treatment plan is established which may consist of vestibular and balance exercises and the use of the Balance Master, a computerized balance system.
Commonly treated vestibular disorders include:
- Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
- Labyrinthitis
- Meniere's disease
- Postural hypotension
- Post-Concussive Syndrome
- Ototoxicity
- Vertigo
- Inner ear problems such as tinnitus
- Neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease
- History of falls
