Tuition Assistance

To receive tuition assistance, eligible employees must pursue a course of study at an accredited university or college that leads to licensure, degree, and /or meet the criteria of business or operational necessity related to their current position or another position within NHRMC. In this educational partnership, the employee agrees to a service payback commitment.

This program provides reimbursement for tuition, books, initial certification exams, and initial certification prep courses, up to $2,000 per calendar year. It does not cover any additional fees, travel expenses, recertification, taxes or shipping costs.

 How to Apply

Applications must be submitted before class or certification. A new application is needed for each semester. Click here for more information on how to apply.

*note: once your application has been approved you will receive a confirmation email along with the Tuition Reimbursement Request Form. The Tuition Reimbursement Request Form is required for your advancement or reimbursement.

Tuition Assistance and Advancement

Tuition Advancement allows payment to be made after the employee has registered for the course(s)/exam and before the course ends. Or you may choose to receive the assistance up to 30 days after the course ends or up to 30 days after you have taken the certification exam - its your choice. Just submit the Tuition Reimbursement Request form (provided to you via your work email account after your course/exam has been approved) along with all the required documentation within 30 days of course or exam completion.

The payment is distributed, tax-free, directly to the employee through your regularly scheduled paycheck. Employees are still required to submit their grades, receipts, and itemized invoices within 30 days of the class completion. You may receive reimbursement for books, but not an advancement.
