Surgery Call Schedule

The call schedule strictly follows the ACGME work hour regulations. Residents take an average of one night of call every three days and two weekend days (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) every four weeks. Junior residents may have a maximum of no more than three Night Float (Acute Care) Rotations throughout the year. Residents enter their own hours into the New Innovations Program which is closely monitored by the Program Administrator.
