Here you will find information about Morgan Internal Medicine and its policies. If you have questions about anything listed, or cannot find information about a topic you are interested in, please call our office at 910.332.0241.

Patient Privacy

Morgan Internal Medicine believes in protecting our patients' privacy and we follow our HIPAA policy. Please see our notice of privacy practices; this includes the detail of what personal information may be collected and what may be shared. We ask that every patient read carefully and sign the last sheet.  We keep this for our records.

New Patients

Morgan Internal Medicine is currently accepting new patients ages 16 and older. Please print out our new patient packet and fill it out to bring with you to your appointment. You may also complete the forms and attach it to an e-mail to the front office team at mimoffice@nhrmc.org.

Appointment Cancellation

We try to schedule appointments in advance to accommodate your needs. Therefore, we ask that you call us by 5:00 p.m. the day before your appointment to let us know if you will not be able to make it. Failure to cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance may result in a $25 no-show fee charged to your account.

Prescriptions

To request a refill on your medications, please call your pharmacy to initiate this process. Please have the name of the medication, dose and pharmacy number when you call our office. For handwritten prescriptions, please call the office during normal business hours. We ask that you allow 2 to 4 business days for this process to take place.

Referrals

For patients needing referrals to another office for special testing or consultation, Morgan Internal Medicine will submit requests. The referral office will then call you to schedule an appointment. If you have not heard back from the referral office in 7 to 10 business days, please call us.

Payment for Services

All co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance payments are due at the time of service. When you arrive for your appointment, you must present your front office team with your insurance card and valid ID in order for us to  file your insurance at every visit. We participate with most major insurance plans, Medicare Part B, Medicare Managed Plans, Managed Care Plans as well as a variety of HMOs and PPOs.
