New Hanover Regional Medical Center's first-ever 2010 "Good For You" Photo Essay Contest was a great success. More than 200 photos were submitted to illustrate and answer the question, "Why is your health important to you?"

Now it's time for the 2011 "Good for You" Photo Essay Contest. Now through August 15, 2011, employees are asked to submit their best photos illustrating what a lifestyle of wellness means to them and a short essay describing their image. The 2010 grand-prize winner was Debbi Wentz. Runner-up winners of gift cards were Lori Feezor, Kelly Wallace and Liz Vavra.The Employee Vote Winner was Melanie Gore, who shared her "relaxation" spa package with her co-workers.
