Wrightsville Beach Family Medicine has a caring staff ready to address your healthcare needs.  Peter G. Kramer, DO and Amanda Ricker, FNP-C are the two providers you can choose to see.  Their bio information is provided below.

Peter G. Kramer, DO

Peter G. Kramer, DO

Peter G. Kramer, DO, earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and completed his residency at Coastal Family Medicine in Wilmington. Dr. Kramer is also a certified respiratory therapist and has been with Wrightsville Beach Family Medicine since 2001. He is board-certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Kramer is married with three children and in his spare time is a triathlete.

Amanda Ricker, FNP-C

Amanda Ricker, FNP-C, joined the practice in April 2012, broadening the spectrum of care available to women. As a board-certified family nurse practitioner and a certified nurse midwife, Amanda has worked in emergency departments, labor and delivery units and OB/GYN practices – most recently at a women's clinic in Jacksonville. Amanda earned degrees from James Madison University, Florida Atlantic University and the Medical University of South Carolina. Amanda is married, has a son and enjoys running, cooking and travel.

Kimberly Farmer, RD, PA-C

Kimberly Farmer, RD, PA-C joined Wrightsville Beach Family Medicine in December 2012.  As a board certified Physician Assistant and Registered Dietitian Kim has worked in hospital settings, emergency departments, and most recently at NHRMC Urgent Care.

Kim earned her B.S. from Appalachian State University, her M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from Western Carolina University and her PA-C from the Medical College of the University of Georgia.  She is also a trained EMT-Paramedic.

She has been honored by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants in the areas of Family Medicine and Surgery.  Kim has also been published in the McGraw-Hill college text Primary Care Review for Physician Assistants.

Kim and her husband Tommy live in Hampstead where she enjoys baking, golf and surf fishing.
