From Our Patients
Quality of care is not just a matter of how well a procedure was performed and how quickly a patient recovered. It's also about how the patient is treated as a person. At New Hanover Regional Medical Center each member of the team is trained to treat each and every patient as the most important person they'll care for that day. We'll work to ensure patients are well informed about the care they're receiving and what they can expect during their stay. We'll also take the time to listen to the patient and family members to understand their needs so we can do what it takes to ease anxiety, make them comfortable and promote healing.
Patients who receive care in NHRMC's Orthopedic Center routinely give the center and staff high marks. They consistently give scores that place the care in the 90th percentile of hospitals conducting similar patient satisfaction surveys.
