Laboratory

Pender Memorial Hospital's Laboratory provides the critical information physicians need to diagnose conditions and evaluate the progress of treatment.  The lab is equipped with advanced technology for quick and accurate inpatient and outpatient testing. 

Locations and Hours

• Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at Pender Memorial Hospital
• Outpatient Laboratory hours are 6:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday-Sunday
• Services include pre-operative and diagnostic testing

• Real-time results are available via fax

Pathologists

All lab results are interpreted by the board-certified pathologists at Wilmington Pathology .

Accreditation

The Pender Memorial Hospital lab is accredited by the Joint Commission.
