Children's Learning Center

The Children's Learning Center is a five-star child care facility that accepts children from six weeks to five years old and now offers after-school care, including care during school system holidays and closings. It is solely for the children of NHRMC employees and some hospital affiliated practices in the area.

Children's Learning Center Reimbursement

NHRMC offers a reimbursement to employees who enroll their children in the pre-school program at the Children's Learning Center. Full-time employees will receive a $150 monthly reimbursement, per-child up to two children for a maximum of $300 per month. Part-time employees who are 0.4 FTE or above are eligible for a pro-rated reimbursement. There is no reimbursement for the after-school program.

Parents' Night Out

New Hanover Regional sponsors free evenings at the Children's Learning Center, with care provided by the CLC staff. The intent is to give you time to do some holiday shopping or enjoy one of the many attractions in the Wilmington area - without the cost of a babysitter! Meanwhile, your children will be in a safe place with plenty of activities to keep them busy.
