Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE): This test determines an individual's capabilities of performing physical work. It includes all 21 physical demands of work as defined by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles in addition to 15 more, when indicated. Our FCE is standardized, objective, reliable and valid.
Work Conditioning: This therapy program is run by an occupational therapist and is designed to return an injured worker back to work using whole body conditioning and strengthening, job simulation, and patient education.
Pre-work screens: This is a brief assessment performed by an occupational therapist which determines if a prospective employee is capable of performing the critical physical requirements of the job.
Ergonomic Consultation/Job site analysis: Trained occupational therapists visit the worksite to assess risk factors that may cause repetitive trauma or cumulative trauma injuries. From this analysis, injury prevention strategies are formulated and employees and management staff are educated in injury prevention techniques and application of ergonomic principles
