The Spiritual Care Department has on call chaplains that provide 24-hour service 365 days a year to respond to spiritual care needs.  All on call chaplains are trained and thoroughly oriented before assuming on call duties.  As on call chaplains they are open to patients and families of all faiths.

New Hanover Regional Medical Center

There is an on call chaplain in the hospital at all times.  Ask a staff member to page the on call chaplain or call the hospital operator at (910) 343-7000 and ask the operator to page the chaplain on call.  The on call chaplain is a staff chaplain, chaplain resident, intern or chaplain associate.

Cape Fear Campus

The Cape Fear Campus the on call chaplain is not in the hospital but available by pager.  Ask a staff member to page the on call chaplain or call the operator, (910) 452-8100 and ask the operator to page the on call chaplain.  The on call chaplain is either a staff chaplain or chaplain associate.
