An affiliate of New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter provides professional health care and comfort to patients with life-limiting illness; support and counseling to families; and education to the community.  The agency has offices in Wilmington, Whiteville, Elizabethtown, Supply and Burgaw.  Hospice services are offered where patients live - their home, assisted living facility, nursing home, hospital - as well as in inpatient hospice care centers in Wilmington and Whiteville. LifeCareCenter programs include a Palliative Care Consult Team, Bereavement Services, and Community Education & Outreach.
