 AirLink and VitaLink are the critical care transport services of New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Consisting of a helicopter, seven specially-designed ambulances and teams of critical care paramedics, registered nurses and emergency medical technicians, the critical care transport division of New Hanover Regional EMS takes critically ill or injured patients between hospitals when they need more specialized care than is available where they are.  AirLink and VitaLink are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They can be accessed by calling 1-800-282-LINK.
